As assistant director for venues, Deb Schwab coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Nebraska Champions Club and Wick Alumni Center. Her duties include managing events, coordinating setup and teardown with catering partners and making sure locations are attractive to alumni, friends and guests.

Schwab joined the Nebraska Alumni Association staff in July 2011. Before that, she spent five years as catering manager for Chances 'R' restaurant at the Nebraska Champions Club. Previously, Schwab spent 30 years with National Bank of Commerce, Computer Division.

A York, Neb., native, Deb and her husband, Brian, have two sons, Brandon and Eric, and a granddaughter, Olivia.
